PQRI Made Easy Brochure FAQ On PQRI Webinar On PQRI Customer Referral Bonus

PQRI – Physician Quality Reporting Initiative

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) provides a financial incentive for eligible professionals who participate in a voluntary quality reporting program. Eligible professionals who successfully report quality measures for the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI) may earn a bonus payment that is a specified percentage of the eligible professional’s estimated total allowed charges for covered services payable under the Medicare Part B Physician Fee Schedule (PFS).

Historically, incentive percentages were 1.5% in 2007, 1.5% in 2008, and 2.0% in 2009. For 2010, the incentive is 2.0% of the eligible professionals estimated total allowed charges for covered services payable under the Medicare Part B PFS.

Docsite has been a successful submitter of PQRI data since 2007. In 2009, Docsite assisted more than 4500 providers to successfully submit data to CMS for the 2009 PQRI reporting year. For 2010, Docsite is once again a CMS-qualified registry for reporting PQRI data.

NEW!! DocSite’s 2010 PQRI Referral Network Program

Participating in Center for Medicare & Medicaid Service’s Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI) program is easier than ever and DocSite, a leading registry vendor supporting PQRI, is encouraging providers to participate in the program by launching the DocSite 2010 PQRI Referral Network Program. The DocSite 2010 PQRI Referral Network Program offers a $20 referral fee to DocSite 2010 PQRI Eligible Professionals, or their staff, who refer a new customer to DocSite for 2010 PQRI reporting. New customers will receive $50 off their PQRI submission fee!

PQRI 2010 Update

Docsite’s 2010 PQRI self-service web registry supports the “30 unique patient” rule, reporting a provider’s clinical data for a measure group to satisfy the alternative reporting requirements established by CMS. Any provider can participate in PQRI using this method of reporting and have 2010 PQRI reporting completed in days, not months!

We have updated Docsite’s PQRI web registry to reflect changes CMS implemented for the 2010 PQRI reporting year. The following 12 CMS-approved measures groups are supported in our 2010 PQRI web service:

  • Back Pain
  • Chronic Kidney Disease
  • Community-Acquired Pneumonia
  • Coronary Artery Disease
  • Diabetes Mellitus
  • Heart Failure
  • Hepatitis C
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Ischemic Vascular Disease
  • Preoperative Care
  • Preventive Care
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis

For larger organizations of 50 or more providers, Docsite also supports the “80% rule” of submission by accepting a practice’s data files for processing. Please contact Docsite directly for details about Docsite’s PQRI Enterprise registry at 919-256-9500 x 3.

ePrescribing 2010

Docsite is pleased to announce that we are also qualified to submit the electronic prescribing (eRX) measure to CMS on behalf of eligible professionals for 2010. This service will be activated in August, 2010, and will allow for data entry in the same manner as our PQRI web service: register, enter the answer to one question for 25 patients, attest, submit, and enjoy your additional 2% incentive!
